Golden Delight

Golden Delight is created by Oscar Hernandez on the farm Finca Los Nogales. With Hernandez's meticulous attention to detail in every step of the coffee production process ensures that their coffee is consistently a superior product. 

We're excited to share this one because it not only tastes amazing but with the leadership from Oscar Hernandez the farm embodies an eco-friendly environment as well as ensuring the welfare of his workers are of a high standard therefore reflecting in the amazing product.

Tasting notes: Aromas of tropical fruits and caramel. Flavours of pineapple upside-down cake, golden crush cordial and an aftertaste of chocolate pudding.

The coffee cherries undergo a process called Thermal Shock, where they are exposed to 80 degrees C water for 20seconds, followed by immersion in 15 degrees C of water for an additional 3 minutes. After ths, the coffee cherries are pulped and placed in sealed containers for 120 hours along with a culture made from beer yeast and coffee cherries. Following this fermentation period, the beans are sun-dried for 21 days.
